Founded in 1947, Windowflowers was a Nursery specialising in the sale and subsequent maintenance of windowboxes to individuals and businesses within Central London.  Due to the scarcity of materials, Second World War ammunition boxes were used to provide these floral displays.  Indeed it was only in the mid-90s when the last ammunition boxes were removed from window sills in the City of London.  During the 1970s and 1980s we pioneered the installation of tropical plant displays within office environments.  Our current range includes feature architectural plants within containers ranging from stainless steel to hand-thrown pottery.  For the last 10 years our fastest growing area has been the provision of weekly contract cut flowers. We now deliver approx. 500 vases of flowers every Monday morning to offices, hotels, shops, clubs and hospitals within and around London.

More recently we have obtained great success in obtaining contracts with Local Authorities and we see this as a strategic future direction for the company.

We remain an independent family business and pride ourselves in our level of service and our attention to detail.
